However, exposed Ninjas can still be easily killed by the Rocket Troop. Even if the damage is negated by using rogues, the Ninja can still hide in forests making the fight difficult for the Rocket Troop. The Ninja can deal significant damage to the Rocket Troop on the first turn. The Ninja is the biggest threat to the Rocket Troop due to their Rapid Deployment ability along with their bonuses against artillery units. The only risks to the Rocket Troop are, however, Flying units, as the Rocket Troop cannot attack them (despite being able to hit them with the Mortar splash), and Stealth units, as they can seriously limit the Rocket Troop's effectiveness against them when hidden (the most notable of them all is the Hover Tank). In fact, it can even be continued in the Space Ages, provided you have a good attack boost, as their high initiative value allows them to move before many units, and they can successfully clear out any army combination as long as there are no fast units. They work very well in Level 4 Guild Expeditions, as many of those contain heavy units, which many encounters will have. They counter all heavy units without Stealth effortlessly easily and they can also take on various other units without Stealth very easily, owing to its great initiative value which allows them to strike on the first turn and deal significant amounts of damage with its Mortar ability, even if the units have defensive capabilities, such as Reactive Armor and Force Field, especially if the units are clumped together. It is a direct upgrade from the Turturret, improving in all parameters. The Rocket Troop is arguably one of the best units in the game.
